Inclusive Governance &
Welcoming Communities

My master's degree in Natural Resources and Energy Policy, legislative internship with former State Representative and Senator Chris Hansen, and advocacy work through nonprofit organizations taught me that good governance requires actively seeking out voices that aren't usually heard. Growing up watching my father serve our community and my mother approach every project with integrity, I learned that public service means making sure everyone has access to the process, not just those with time and resources.

Adams County thrives because of our diversity. Your voice matters, and your experience living in this community means you know what’s best for Adams County. Together, we’re making decisions now that will shape your family's future, and you belong at that table.

As Your Commissioner, I will:

1

Create an Inclusive Government for All Residents

  • Ensure county information is translated into languages your family speaks

  • Maintain Adams County's welcoming policies so all residents feel safe accessing services, regardless of immigration status

2

Engage Communities in Decision-Making

  • Schedule my meetings when working families can actually attend

  • Develop policy that requires meaningful consultation with your neighborhood before approving development projects near your home

3

Ensure Accountability & Accessibility

  • Create transparent budget processes with accessible financial data

  • Hold regular office hours in different parts of the county

  • Respond promptly to constituent concerns and questions, our government should work for you
